Single storey residence on a sloping rural site in Kilsheelin, West of Clonmel.  Located on a large family farm, the site enjoys spectacular views South to the Suir valley and the Comeraghs.  The design brief was to create a single-storey home which would maximise the opportunities presented by its location, and which would create a seamless indoor / outdoor series of living spaces.

The house is located at the edge of the family farm and is positioned to take full advantage of the available views to the South and also of Sliabh na mBan to the North.  The key design concept was to create a strong visual connection to its location and to allow for open plan living spaces interconnected with the exterior landscape.

The house which is carefully nestled into the site, is approached from a long driveway and is entered from the Northern side.  A large Kitchen, Dining, Living area extends across the width of the plan an opens up to the South facing views and terrace.  The Master Suite is located to the East benefitting from views and morning light, whilst other Bedrooms and Study are located at the Western end of the house.
