We acted as an Integrated Design Team for the design and delivery of a community sports and recreational campus to provide much needed community, sporting and recreational exercise opportunities for the residents of Fethard and beyond.
The project partners comprised Coolmore Ireland, Tipperary County Council and the Cashel & Emly Diocese and the proposal was developed through a wide ranging and detailed Consultation Process with community groups, schools, employers and sporting organisations in Fethard.
The scheme comprises of the following key elements: Pavilion Building containing an Inter-Generational Community Hall, Health Consultation Suites, Gym, Café, & Community Club Rooms; Perimeter Walkway with Age Friendly Tone Zones, Pedestrian and Cycle Paths, Community Amenity Facilities, Sensory Garden and 3G and grass Playing & Sports Training Pitches for both Rugby and GAA. The project has become home to Tipperary Ladies GAA, Munster Rubgy and the Tipperary Wheelchair Association – all of whom benefit from the excellent range of sporting and amenity facilities available at Fethard Town Park.
